There is no way to determine the early or late stage of colorectal cancer by time, which needs to be determined according to tumor size, lymph node and distal metastasis. The staging of colorectal cancer is carried out according to the international TNM staging standard, which means that it needs to be determined according to the tumor size, lymph node metastasis as well as distal organ metastasis, not according to the time of illness. Clinically, colorectal cancer requires timely CT, MRI and other examinations, and only when the tumor is large in size, accompanied by lymph nodes and metastasis to lungs, liver and other organs, can it be determined as advanced stage. Once identified as advanced stage, the chance of surgery is small, and most of them can only be treated by means of radiotherapy and chemotherapy to help prolong the survival cycle.
