Hysteroscopy may cause harm to the body, but the harm is very small because it is not a surgical operation. There are two main injuries of hysteroscopy: 1. It may cause infection in the uterine cavity. The passage of hysteroscopy is from the bottom up, from the infected area to the sterile area. If the patient has inflammation of the vagina, it is easy to bring the inflammation into the uterine cavity when doing the operation, causing infection of the uterine cavity or pelvic cavity. This is why women must do a white belt check before doing hysteroscopy, and if they have inflammation, they need to be treated before doing hysteroscopy. 2. The uterus is prone to perforation. If the patient has abnormal cervical development or uterine cavity adhesions, when doing hysteroscopy, the inspection probe cannot enter the uterine cavity through the normal channel, and when it encounters the myometrial barrier, if the inspector exerts excessive force, it is easy to penetrate the myometrial layer and perforation occurs.
