The usual cause of back pain after heavy lifting is due to a disorder of the posterior small joints of the lumbar spine. When lifting heavy objects, one side of the lumbar joints is open and the other side is closed. When the body returns to the upright state, the open small joints on one side cannot return to the original state through the normal pathway, so the symptoms of subluxation, interlocking, or even total subluxation appear, causing acute pain in the lumbar spine. The pain usually leads to the limitation of lumbar spine activities, and the symptoms can be significantly improved and cured through active manipulation and repositioning. Some patients may experience localized pain after repositioning, but the symptoms may be less severe than at the time of injury, and may be relieved by localized hot compresses, oral fusarium tablets, and topical fusarium ointment. At the same time, proper immobilization is given and the activities of lumbar spine are restricted, and all the symptoms can disappear in about one week.
