What to see for lymph node metastases

Patients should choose which department they need to see based on the primary tumor of the lymph node metastasis. For example, lymph node metastasis of lung cancer should see lung oncology department, axillary lymph node metastasis of breast cancer should see breast department and so on. Lymph node metastasis is a metastatic tumor, which is mainly manifested by feeling enlarged lymph nodes on the body, which is painless and itchy in early stage and has no obvious symptoms. Since lymphatic system spreads all over the body, tumor metastasis can occur in many parts of the body, so lymph node metastasis can be caused by neck cancer, esophageal cancer, lung cancer and so on, and the patients can go to the department of primary disease for consultation. Some unexplained lymph node enlargement is considered to be malignant lesions, and patients can choose the department of consultation according to the location of the enlarged lymph nodes. For example, if the lymph nodes in the axilla are enlarged, the general surgery department is usually chosen; or the oncology department can be chosen directly. If there are symptoms of lymph node metastases, do not panic, should promptly seek medical treatment, determine the cause of the disease under the standardized guidance of the doctor.
