Rheumatoid arthritis causing knee pain can be treated with general treatment, medication, surgery and other methods.
1. General treatment: patients are advised to pay attention to rest, joint braking is needed in the acute stage, and joint functional exercises should be carried out in the recovery stage.
2. Drug therapy: anti-rheumatic drugs include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aspirin, celecoxib), glucocorticosteroids (hydrocortisone, methylprednisolone), disease-altering anti-rheumatic drugs (methotrexate, cyclosporine), and biologics (rituximab).
3. Surgical treatment: If the regular drug treatment is ineffective, synovectomy, joint fusion and arthroplasty can be performed to prevent joint destruction.
Rheumatoid patients are advised to go to the hospital in time and receive standardized treatment under the guidance of the doctor. Drugs should be used in accordance with the doctor’s instructions, do not self-medication.
