Patients tend to have pale face, white lips, decreased appetite, yellow eyes, abdominal distension, growth retardation, mental depression, expressionless face, and weakness. Special facial features: frontal and parietal bulging, enlarged head, bulging cheeks, collapsed nose, protruding upper jaw and teeth. Some children will have chronic ulcers on the lower limbs. 3. When combined with acute infection, the above symptoms will be significantly aggravated, and there may be fever, poor appetite, diarrhea and other symptoms.
