Parkinson’s Non-Motor Disorder Manifestations

Parkinson’s non-motor disorders are manifested as sensory disorders, autonomic dysfunction, mental and cognitive disorders and so on. 1. Sensory disorders: in the early stage of the disease, there may be decreased sense of smell or sleep disorders, and in the middle and late stages, there may be limb numbness, pain and other manifestations. 2. Autonomic dysfunction: such as constipation, hyperhidrosis, seborrheic dermatitis, salivation due to reduced swallowing activity, hypogonadism, dysuria, or postural hypotension in the late stage of the disease. 3. Mental and cognitive disorders: patients may have depression, anxiety, cognitive disorders, hallucinations and other manifestations.
