The asymmetry of the left and right ribs may be related to the deformed healing of ribs, developmental abnormalities, tumors, pleural effusion and so on.
1. Rib deformity healing, after the rib is fractured by external violence, due to various reasons of poor healing, deformity healing occurs, resulting in the inconsistency between the fracture area and the normal area, which is manifested as the asymmetry of left and right ribs.

3. Tumor, such as bone tumor, mediastinal giant tumor, etc. Tumor damage to the bone, tumor compression, etc. can cause one side of the chest to protrude, manifesting as asymmetry of the right and left ribs.
4. Pleural effusion, due to various reasons, unilateral pleural effusion is triggered, the affected side of the chest is full, and visually there are inconsistencies in the height of the ribs on the left and right sides.
