Stenosing tenosynovitis is characterized by local pain, limited extension and flexion of the affected finger, a popping sound when straightened, and pressure pain and nodules on the palmar side of the metacarpophalangeal joint; stenosing tenosynovitis of the radial styloid process occurs in the radial styloid process, and the main clinical symptoms are severe local pain when clenching and abducting the fist, weakness in lifting objects, and palpable bean-sized nodules in the radial styloid process, with obvious pressure pain. There are many treatment methods for this disease, such as physiotherapy, closure and oral medication, but the recurrence rate is high and the effect is not good. Open surgery treatment, treatment effect is good, traumatic. Now we introduce you to the small needle knife treatment for stenosing tenosynovitis of the thumb. This method is less invasive, faster recovery, and more effective, and the treatment is only the size of a pinhole, which can be covered with a band-aid only after the operation. The treatment is carried out with a flat small needle or hook knife with an incision width of 0.8 to 2 mm, and is routinely disinfected, covered with a sterile cavity towel, and first anesthetized with drugs for local infiltration. The sterilized small needle incision is in the same direction as the tendon, entering the node, reaching the tendon sheath, and then cutting the tendon sheath stenosis longitudinally to loosen the stenosis, and the degree of loosening is subject to the disappearance of the trigger sign, at which time the extension and flexion of the affected finger can be restored to normal. If the stenosis is not completely stripped, the stenosis can be stripped again by entering the needle knife from the original way, or the treatment can be repeated once a week after the first cut. After surgery, local aseptic dressing is applied and kept clean for 3 days to prevent infection.
