Babies do not necessarily have a reaction after receiving the 13-valent vaccine. Possible adverse reactions include discomfort at the injection site, fever, and loss of appetite.
The safety of the 13-valent pneumonia vaccine is good, and the possibility of possible adverse reactions after injection is small, and most babies will not have any obvious discomfort. The following adverse reactions are common:
1. Redness, swelling and pain in the injected part: the most common, usually no special treatment is needed, and it can recover by itself in 2-3 days.
2. Fever: mostly low fever, symptomatic to be physical cooling, if necessary, ibuprofen and other drugs can be used to reduce fever;
3. Loss of appetite, increased crying: generally 2-3 days can gradually recover by themselves.
4. Rarely appear edema, respiratory difficulties and other serious allergic reactions.
After the thirteen-valent vaccine if the baby has obvious symptoms of discomfort, you need to seek medical treatment.
