Steps of the tricot head wrap method

The steps of the tricot head dressing method are to fold the bottom edge of the tricot, place it on the forehead of the casualty at the eyebrow, cross the forehead left and right through the casualty’s ear to the back of the head below the occipital bone, and then rap back up to the forehead and tie a knot above the arch of the healthy eyebrow. 1. Cover the wound with a sterile dressing and fold the bottom edge of the tricot about one horizontal finger width. 2. Dispose of 1/3 of the center of the bottom edge of the tricot on the forehead of the casualty at eyebrow level, with the top corner facing backward, and the two bottom feet passing over the casualty’s ears to the back of the head under the occipital bone, pressing the top corner to cross left and right. 3. Round back to the forehead via the ear, tie a knot above the arch of the healthy side eyebrow, press the forehead with one hand, pull the top corner tight with the other hand, and fold the top corner into the back of the head at the cross. Precautions: When bandaging the patient’s head, make sure to wrap the patient’s occipital bone to avoid the tricot falling off. After the bandaging is completed, the patient should be examined and asked if there is any discomfort, and the tricot should be adjusted for the patient immediately if the patient feels uncomfortable. Specific operations should be carried out under the guidance of the doctor.
