How many times a day is normal for the fetus to move?

It is more normal for the fetus to move more than 30 to 40 times a day. Fetal movement refers to various activities of the fetus that occur in the uterus, such as stretching, limb movements or breathing movements. Under normal circumstances, fetal movement should be no less than 3 to 5 times an hour, and the number of noticeable fetal movements in a 12-hour period is 30 to 40 times or more. Fetal movement is usually more frequent at night. When the pregnant woman is quiet at night, the fetus will feel more relaxed, and the baby’s fetal movement will become frequent after meals or during fetal education. Fetal movement can be caused by the movement of the pregnant woman, her posture, her emotions or when she touches her abdomen. During pregnancy, pregnant women should follow a light diet, have regular medical checkups, and go to the hospital if symptoms such as vaginal bleeding or abdominal pain occur.
