There is no simplest way to identify proteinuria. At present, the main clinical methods are proteinuria qualitative test, proteinuria quantitative determination and proteinuria electrophoretic analysis. 1. Protein urine qualitative test: usually use the heating acetic acid method, protein paper method, under normal circumstances, protein urine qualitative test should show negative, but this test method may have false negative results. For example, high urate content may cause the urine to be acidic, so the test needs to be performed several times. 2. Quantitative determination of proteinuria: more methods are used, including bicinchoninum method and Kjeldahl method. However, the operation is more complicated, the clinic mainly choose semi-quantitative method, 24 hours urine protein amount <1g belongs to mild proteinuria, between 1~3.5g belongs to moderate proteinuria, >3.5g belongs to large amount of proteinuria. 3. Protein urine electrophoresis analysis: common urine protein immunoelectrophoresis and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, mainly from the type of protein in the urine, to distinguish between different types of urine protein. There are many ways to identify proteinuria, if you find abnormalities after examination, you need to go to a regular hospital for treatment.
