Can astragalus cure AIDS?

Astragalus cannot treat AIDS. Astragalus has the effect of strengthening the spleen, tonifying the middle and benefiting the qi (treating qi deficiency by tonifying the spleen), and can also tonify the qi and raise the yang, solidify the surface and stop sweating, promote water retention and reduce swelling, generate fluid and nourish the blood, move stagnation and pass the paralysis, and support the toxin to generate muscle (expel toxins to promote the growth of muscle and healing of wounds). It is used to treat prolonged diarrhea and prolapse of the anus caused by spleen deficiency, and spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, aggravated by sweating with a little movement) caused by deficiencies in Wei Qi (deficiency of positive Qi defending the human body’s muscle surface). Astragalus is a commonly used Chinese medicine. It is also known as Bai Ben and Lamb. It is sweet in flavor and slightly warm in nature; it belongs to the spleen and lung meridians. Its effects include strengthening the spleen, replenishing the middle qi (treating qi deficiency by replenishing the spleen), elevating yang and lifting sunken organs (elevating and lifting yang qi of the organism to lift sunken organs), as well as fixing the surface and astringing sweating and inducing diuresis and eliminating oedema (facilitating the passage of urine and eliminating oedema). The main treatment of spleen qi deficiency, the qi sinking (spleen and stomach qi deficiency, the appearance of viscera sagging and other manifestations) caused by prolonged diarrhea and prolapse of the anus, visceral prolapse, but also for the treatment of qi deficiency and edema, self-sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, sweating aggravated by a little movement) of the key drugs. It also has the effect of generating fluids to quench thirst (promoting the production of fluids to quench thirst), and can treat sores that are difficult to control due to deficiency of qi and blood. Adverse effects of astragalus have been rarely reported, but it is contraindicated in combining with tortoise shell and white fresh skin. It should also not be combined with drugs such as hypotension, cardiac glycosides, and aspirin. Avoid eating radish, tea, kelp buds and so on. It is not suitable for patients with solid surface and fullness of evil. It is forbidden for those who are allergic to it. As seen from the above, Astragalus has no role in the treatment of AIDS. If there is a clinical need for medication, please take the correct medication under the diagnosis and treatment of a professional physician, do not blindly use medication, so as not to delay the condition or affect the health of the body.
