Is moderately differentiated cancer of the colon powerful?

Moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of the colon is of average malignancy; the specific severity, i.e., whether it is powerful or not, has more to do with the staging. Colon adenocarcinoma is a malignant tumor of intestinal tract caused by heredity, bad dietary habits, gene mutation and other factors, and moderately differentiated represents that the cancer cells have average differentiation degree, average malignancy degree and average prognosis. Its severity should be judged in combination with the staging based on the primary tumor, the degree of lymph node metastasis, and whether distant metastasis occurs. After comprehensive treatment of moderately differentiated colon cancer by surgery, radiotherapy and other methods, stage I can obtain about 90% five-year survival rate; stage II-III is about 40%-70%; stage IV is about 10%-15%. In conclusion, early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment should be pursued to obtain a better prognosis.
