Effects and contraindications of Solanum vulgare

Duhuo has the efficacy of dispelling wind-dampness, relieving pain and relieving epidemiology, and is useful in treating wind-cold-dampness paralysis (paralysis of limbs caused by the invasion of wind, cold and dampness into the human body), shaoyin headache and other conditions. The contraindications of Duhuo are not yet clear.
Duhuo is the dried root of Angelica sinensis, an herb of the genus Angelica, family Umbelliferae. It is pungent, bitter and slightly warm in nature; its attributed meridians are kidney and bladder meridians. It not only has the efficacy of dispelling wind-dampness and relieving pain, but also has the efficacy of relieving epidemics. Clinically, it is mainly used for the treatment of wind-cold and dampness paralysis, wind-cold and dampness syndrome, Shaoyin headache, skin itching and so on.
The adverse reaction of Duhuo is gastrointestinal tract irritation when overdosed internally. Contraindications are not yet clear. It should be noted that the amount of internal use should not be too large, and people with yin deficiency and blood dryness (deficiency of yin fluid, dryness and heat in the blood) should be cautious.
