There are differences between chronic enteritis and colitis in terms of etiology, lesion site and symptoms. 1. Chronic enteritis: chronic enteritis refers to chronic inflammation of the intestinal mucosa caused by infection, immunity, genetics and other factors, often involving the small intestine, clinical symptoms of long-term chronic or recurrent abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation and so on. 2. Colitis: Colitis refers to inflammatory lesions of the colon caused by bacteria, protozoa and other organisms or perverse reactions and physicochemical factors, clinical symptoms of diarrhea, abdominal pain, mucus stool, pus and blood stools, acute and severe (discomfort in the lower abdomen, wanting to defecate very much, and a sense of incomplete defecation after defecation) and so on. It is recommended that patients with chronic enteritis or colitis go to the hospital in time to improve the stool routine and other auxiliary tests, to clarify the diagnosis and active treatment.
