Is the recent foreign body sensation in my eyelids due to myopia?

Myopia, which does not usually cause a foreign body sensation in the eyelid, may be relieved by contact lens wear for a long period of time or by poor contact lens care, which may cause conjunctivitis and hence a foreign body sensation.
