Sinus rhythm and J-point elevation is a non-specific manifestation. Generally, J-point elevation indicates the possibility of early repolarization in patients, like idiopathic early repolarization or in young people, such as adolescents, and special types of diseases, such as Brugada syndrome, may also show J-point elevation on the ECG. Sinus rhythm indicates that the patient’s heart rhythm has a normal origin, and all normal people are in sinus rhythm. In the case of J-point elevation, it depends on the patient’s specific situation. If it is found during physical examination in normal people, it may be idiopathic in young patients and may gradually improve with age. In some populations, it may be an early repolarization and in most cases does not require special attention. However, if an arrhythmia is detected after an ambulatory electrocardiogram or other examination, and Brugada syndrome is suspected, special treatment must be chosen for prevention, such as the installation of an ICD.
