There is no so-called treatment of allergic rhinitis and other special effect points, allergic rhinitis commonly used acupuncture points are Yingxiang point, Yintang point, Hegu point, Lung Yu point and so on.
1. Yingxiang point: Located in the depression on both sides of the nose, there is one point on each side. Its functions include clearing the nasal orifices, clearing the channels and relieving pain (dredging the channels and collaterals to relieve pain), and treating nasal congestion, congested epistaxis (which corresponds to allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinitis in Chinese medicine), crooked mouth, and itching of the face.
2. Yin Tang acupoint: located at the intersection of the line between the two eyebrows and the front center line. The effect is to clear the head and eyes, open the nose, headache, dizziness, insomnia, rhinitis, frontal sinusitis, and so on.
3. Hegu acupoint: located on the back of the hand, in the depression between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones. It is effective in dispelling wind and dispersing cold (dispelling wind evil and dispersing cold evil), clearing the lungs, preventing the transmission of external evils to the interior, and is mainly used for treating body heat, headache, vertigo, redness, swelling and pain of the eyes, epistaxis (nosebleed), and nasal abundance (which manifests itself as a foul and turbid nasal mucus, with a large amount of mucus that is not wiped away clean), and so on.
