Red bumps on the neck, this condition may be formed by allergic factors, such as atopic dermatitis. If this is the case, you can usually apply topical glucocorticoid creams, such as topical hydrocortisone butyrate cream or denuded cream. Oral antihistamines, such as loratadine or epinastine, are also needed. If the red bumps are due to infection, folliculitis or localized boils, topical antibiotics such as fusidic acid cream or mupirocin ointment should be applied. Oral anti-inflammatory medications such as roxithromycin or doxycycline may also be required.
