Most patients with uveitis are difficult to be cured completely.
It is difficult to cure most cases of uveitis because although the inflammation can be effectively controlled by medication or surgery, it is prone to recurring episodes and may cause more serious complications.
Inflammation can be controlled in about 2 to 4 weeks after regular treatment in patients with mild uveitis. In more severe cases of uveitis, it may take 3~6 months or even longer to control the inflammation after regular treatment. The exact time will need to be determined by the severity of the condition.
Patients suffering from the condition of uveitis are advised to go to the hospital in time for treatment, so as to control the condition and minimize complications as much as possible, thus improving the prognosis and the quality of life of the patients.
