Which part of the pelvis is in pain

Pelvic pain refers to pain in the area below the waist and above the hip. The patient can simply locate this area in the following way. First the patient can feel two bony protrusions in the shape of a fan on the left and right sides of the lower abdomen, the same area where we snag the belt when we tie it. This is the iliac bone, which is located at the uppermost end of the pelvis. The patient can then feel two distinct bony prominences on the left and right sides of the hip, and can feel the bony prominences moving when the patient moves the hip joint. These two parts of the femur are the greater trochanter, the part above the greater trochanter and the part below the iliac bone is the pelvis of our body, and once the pelvis is diseased, it is easy to cause pain in various parts of the pelvis. The common causes of pelvic pain are osteoporosis, pelvic-related injuries, inflammation of small joints inside the pelvis, and peripheral nerve lesions such as lumbar disc herniation.
