Every week, when we take a look at the specialist clinic, there are often patients with cervical erosion, cervical cysts, many of them have done the so-called treatment in some irregular hospitals, a variety of treatment methods, leep, electrocautery, laser, drug and so on and so forth, often costing thousands of dollars, but also be lured to continue treatment, to be aware of the fraud, the loss has been irretrievable. The actual fact is that you can find a lot of people who have been in the business for a long time, and you’ll be able to find a lot of people who have been in the business for a long time. The cervical erosion is mostly caused by inflammation of the cervix due to childbirth, miscarriage, surgical damage or poor hygiene, etc. The appearance of the erosion surface is red, and according to the size of the erosion surface accounting for the cervical area (<1>2/3) is divided into I, II and III degrees, i.e. light, medium and heavy erosion. Before talking about the treatment of cervical erosion it is important to first emphasize the importance of cervical cytology examination. Women who have sexual intercourse need to undergo annual cervical cytology examination, either cervical smear or TCT (liquid-based thin layer cytology), which is a cancer prevention screening and needs to be done regularly even if the cervical appearance is normal and there is no erosion. Cervical smear is usually done once a year and TCT can be done every 3-5 years at different intervals depending on the age of the woman. the cost of TCT is about$150 per test and women should be kind to themselves, it is a necessary health investment. Not all cervical erosion requires treatment. If there are no clinical symptoms such as increased leucorrhea and the TCT test is normal, cervical erosion generally does not require treatment because in some physiological cases such as adolescence, pregnancy or women taking oral contraceptives, the appearance of cervical canal columnar epithelial hyperplasia and outgrowth due to increased estrogen levels is celiac disease, which is physiological cervical erosion and does not require treatment. If cervical erosion has obvious clinical symptoms and needs treatment after examination by a doctor, and TCT has been performed to exclude cervical cancer, physical therapy such as focused ultrasound, laser and cryotherapy is recommended, among which focused ultrasound is less invasive. The treatment time is 3-7 days after menstruation, and the healing time of the treatment wound takes 3-4 weeks, and 6-8 weeks for deeper lesions, during which there will be blood-like or water-like vaginal discharge. Oral medication for celiac disease is useless. Topical medications can be used for patients with clinical symptoms such as increased leucorrhea, and various Chinese herbal suppositories are similar and clinically effective, but not as effective as physical therapy. Many patients are found to have cervical cysts, mostly multiple cysts, when they have ultrasound, do they need treatment? Cervical cysts are formed because the new epithelial tissue blocks the outlet of the cervical glands during the inflammatory repair process, so that the mucus secreted by the cervical glands cannot be discharged and accumulates to form small vesicles. Because of the toughness of the cervical tissue, cervical cysts usually do not grow too big, they are not cancerous and do not need treatment.
