Dialysis indicators

The indicators of dialysis are not completely absolute, so the clinician can decide the time of dialysis according to the specific situation of the patient. The main indicators of dialysis include: First, patients with chronic renal failure have reached the uremic phase, such as creatinine greater than 707μmol/L or more, and endogenous creatinine clearance less than 10ml/min or less. Second, the patient has severe internal environmental disorders, such as blood potassium greater than 6.5 mmol/L or metabolic acidosis pH less than 7.15. Third, the patient has acute renal failure with oliguria or even anuria, combined with heart failure. Fourth, patients with drug or pesticide poisoning can undergo dialysis treatment to help excrete the drugs or pesticides from the body.
