Why do you have a sore throat?

Sore throat may be related to environmental factors, chronic pharyngitis and inflammation of tonsils.
1. Environmental factors: long-term inhalation of dust, long-term smoking, excessive alcohol consumption may stimulate the mucous membrane of the throat. Local immunity decreases, inducing viral and bacterial infections, which leads to an old sore throat.
2. Chronic pharyngitis: patients often manifest foreign body sensation, itching, burning, dryness or slight pain in the throat. Because it is a chronic disease, the condition will recur, the symptoms are stubborn, and it is more difficult to be completely cured. So it will lead to frequent symptoms of sore throat.
3. Inflammation of tonsils: Inflammation of tonsils is caused by local inflammatory stimulation, mainly due to infection by pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and parasites.
There are other possibilities for patients with a sore throat, so it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for further examination to diagnose the specific cause of the disease, and then do targeted treatment. Never take anti-inflammatory drugs without authorization, to avoid causing drug safety hazards, leading to serious consequences.
