Toothache is mainly caused by wisdom tooth pericoronitis, acute gingival papillitis, dental caries or endodontic apical periodontitis, which requires periodontal rinsing and medication, caries filling or root canal treatment.
1. Wisdom tooth pericoronitis or acute gingival papillitis are gums and food impaction, resulting in its inflammation and edema and cause severe pain; the treatment is the wisdom tooth pericoronitis or gingival papillae rinsing and medication, in order to quickly stop the pain.
2. Dental caries is the surface of the hard tissue defects, resulting in dental nerve response to external stimuli sensitive to pain; caries filling treatment must be carried out on the defective parts of the repair to stop pain.
3. Pulpitis or periapical inflammation is caused by the infection and inflammation of the nerve, which will cause hot and cold pain, spontaneous pain or biting pain and other symptoms; it is necessary to carry out endodontic treatment, i.e., extraction of the nerve treatment, to clean the inflamed nerve from the root canal in order to stop the pain.
Toothache is recommended to seek medical treatment for symptomatic treatment, if not timely treatment, under the guidance of the doctor to take painkillers (such as ibuprofen) and anti-infective drugs (such as amoxicillin, metronidazole, etc.) in order to alleviate the symptoms.
