Ground jinzhao and Feiyangcao are two different kinds of herbs, and their herbal sources, effects, and main treatment diseases are different.
1. Herbal source: the ground jinzhao is the Euphorbiaceae plant ground jinzhao or spotted ground jinzhao dried grass. Feiyangcao is the dried grass of Euphorbiaceae.
2. Efficacy: Dijin grass has the effect of cooling the blood to stop bleeding, clearing heat and removing toxins, and inducing diuresis to remove dampness and jaundice. Feiyangcao has the effects of inducing dampness and relieving itching, clearing heat and removing toxins, and promoting lactation.
3. Indications: Dijin Cao is used for diarrhea, dysentery, hemoptysis, blood in urine, leakage of menstruation (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling), blood in the stool, jaundice with dampness-heat, sores and carbuncles, and so on.
Feiyangcao is used for breast carbuncle (red, swollen and painful breasts, poor milk discharge, eventually forming a purulent disease), lung carbuncle, furuncle, dysentery, dental chancre, feverish drenching (burning and tingling during urination, accompanied by frequent urination and urgent urination, abdominal traction discomfort), hematuria, diarrhea, eczema, itchy skin, ringworm of the feet, postnatal breast milk and other diseases. Use with caution in pregnant women.
