Can cryptorchid cancer be cured?

Whether or not a cryptorchid testicular cancerous lesion can be cured depends on the extent of the cancerous lesion. Pre-operative CT should be done to effectively evaluate whether it is a simple testicular cancerous lesion, whether there are enlarged surrounding lymph nodes, and whether there are distant metastatic foci. If it is a simple testicular cancerous lesion, it can be surgically removed and a cure can be achieved. If the cryptorchid testis has cancerous lesions, surrounded by enlarged lymph nodes and distant metastatic foci, it is recommended to do orchiectomy and peripheral lymph node clearance, and radiotherapy or chemotherapy should be effectively done according to the pathological slides after the surgery, in order to effectively prolong the survival time of the patient, improve the quality of life, and achieve good therapeutic effect.
