Eardrum rupture, i.e. tympanic membrane perforation, is common in chronic suppurative otitis media, middle ear cholesteatoma and other diseases, which can usually be repaired by tympanic membrane repair surgery. 1.Chronic suppurative otitis media: surgical treatment, drug treatment. (1) Surgical treatment: tympanic chamber repair for symptomatic relief; excision of middle ear lesions to remove lesions in the middle ear mastoid. Tympanic membrane repair surgery is not recommended for chronic suppurative otitis media in the presence of eustachian tube dysfunction and a high degree of tympanic chamber epithelialization. (2) Drug therapy: chloramphenicol hydrocortisone ear drops, etc. are used to inhibit bacterial growth and kill bacteria, and are used as adjunctive therapy after surgery. 2. Middle ear cholesteatoma: once found, it is recommended to remove the cholesteatoma tissue as soon as possible, and at the same time, reconstruct and repair the diseased tympanic structures including the broken eardrum. If eardrum rupture occurs, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for systematic examination to clarify the condition, and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the medication and treatment.
