Most of the symptoms of early breast cancer are not obvious, mainly lumps in the breast, abnormal breast skin, abnormal nipple areola, and other symptoms such as enlarged lymph nodes, which are easy to be ignored. 1. Breast lump: breast lump is a common symptom in early stage of breast cancer, most of them are painless lumps, which are usually located in the outer upper quadrant of one side of the breast, with irregular edges, hard texture, and not easy to be pushed. 2. Breast skin abnormality: when the patient has a lump in the breast, it is easy to invade the surrounding tissues, which leads to breast skin abnormality. It is not obvious in the early stage, but with the progress of the disease, it can be shown as “dimple-like” and “orange peel-like” changes. 3. Nipple areola abnormality: when the lump invades the nipple areola in early stage of breast cancer, it may lead to nipple inversion and other symptoms, and a few patients may have eczema-like changes in the areola and surrounding skin. 4. Other: early breast cancer patients may also have enlarged lymph nodes, such as enlarged axillary lymph nodes on the affected side. Some patients may also have nipple discharge. As the early symptoms of breast cancer are not obvious, women are advised to pay attention to the appearance of the breast and other abnormalities in their daily life, and undergo regular medical checkups in order to find out whether there are any abnormalities in the breast in a timely manner.
