The duration of radiotherapy for early breast cancer will be different because of the different methods of radiotherapy. If it is conventional radiotherapy, because the radiotherapy technology is relatively simple, the time needed is relatively short, usually it takes 2-3 minutes for the radiotherapy to finish. With the advancement of radiotherapy technology, more and more precise radiotherapy is used nowadays. In the case of precise radiotherapy, it usually takes 6-8 minutes for the patient to finish the radiotherapy. With the application of new radiotherapy techniques, such as positional alignment for patients to ensure a more accurate position of radiation therapy, coupled with image guidance, radiotherapy may take a little longer, generally in about 10 minutes to end radiotherapy.
