The easiest way to determine hepatic ascites

Hepatic ascites can be determined by physical examination, ultrasonography and laboratory tests to determine its presence or absence. Among them, ultrasonography is the most basic examination method, and it is impossible to decide which is the simplest method. 1. Physical examination: the abdomen is distended, and the presence or absence of ascites can be checked by palpation and percussion, and the hardness of the liver can be understood. If there is a large amount of ascites, there may be mobile turbid sounds and fluid wave tremor. 2. Ultrasonography: ultrasonography is the most basic examination, widely used, non-invasive, inexpensive, and helpful in determining the presence or absence of ascites. 3. Laboratory examination: Laboratory examination such as alpha-fetoprotein, liver function, hepatitis B antigen and antibody can be carried out to assist in the diagnosis of those with primary liver disease. Laparoscopy or peritoneal puncture can be used to extract fluid to determine the presence or absence of ascites. When ascites is found, it is recommended to improve the examination, clarify the cause of the disease, and actively treat the primary disease under the guidance of the doctor.
