How acupuncture can better treat frozen shoulder

  I. Clinical manifestations of frozen shoulder The movement of the arm is impaired, painful, the upper limb is numb and painful, there is a feeling of not being able to make a strong effort, and even when you are outdoors, you find that the joint movement is not very flexible. The pain becomes sharp and intense when moving the upper arm, especially when it is not raised over the head, and the pain increases at night, even affecting sleep.  Acupuncture has been clinically effective in treating frozen shoulder. In the past, frozen shoulder was commonly known as “fifty shoulder”, mostly seen in the right shoulder of women around 50. Now, with the arrival of the computer information era, people are facing the computer work for a long time, so the patients of frozen shoulder are getting younger and younger.  Periarthritis is a degenerative inflammatory disease of the soft tissues around the shoulder joint. It belongs to the category of “shoulder paralysis”, “frozen shoulder” and “leaky shoulder wind” in Chinese medicine. According to orthopedic experts in Chinese medicine, shoulder pain is caused when there is a deficiency of vital energy, a gradual weakening of the bones and tendons, a localized wind and cold, or a strain and a shock, or a habit of lying on one side, which results in a long-term compression of the tendons and veins, leading to a blockage of qi and blood.  Acupuncture for frozen shoulder 1.
