It is normal for white colored discharge to appear on the 15th day of the month.
The color of postpartum discharge generally changes from red to yellow (light red) and finally to white. Around 1-7 days postpartum, the color is usually red; within half a month postpartum, it is almost yellow; and after that, it is white, and the overall duration of the discharge usually ranges from one month to 42 days.
After giving birth, the uterine membrane and placental material left in the uterus are mixed with blood and discharged through the vagina.
The red color is usually bright red because there is still more blood after giving birth; as the body recovers from childbirth, the color of the discharge will gradually become lighter because there is less blood; in the final stage, there is no more blood, and the discharge is white.
In the postpartum period, it is recommended that mothers pay attention to keeping warm as well as the cleanliness and hygiene of their private parts, and if any abnormality occurs, it is recommended that they consult a doctor in a timely manner.
