What’s with the salty water coming out of your teeth?

Common causes of salty water flowing between teeth include periodontitis and gingivitis, etc. The outflow of liquid is felt to be salty due to localized bleeding or pus overflow. 1. Periodontitis: this is a common destructive disease in clinic, which may be caused by calculus, plaque, food impaction or traumatic occlusion, and the patient will have red and swollen gums, enlarged gaps between the teeth, periodontal abscesses, bad breath and other symptoms, so it leads to salty water flowing from between the teeth. 2. Gingivitis: usually caused by food impaction, long-term smoking, mouth breathing, drug stimulation, bad restorations or teeth misalignment and crowding. Patients will have symptoms such as bleeding gums, increased gingival sulcus fluid, gingival sulcus overflow pus and so on, which will cause the occurrence of salty water flowing between the teeth.
