  At present, clinical immunomodulators are divided into two categories: Western medicine and Chinese medicine. Western medicine is divided into immunosuppressants and immune enhancers. Immunosuppressants are mainly used for autoimmune diseases and anti-transplant rejection. Immune enhancers are mainly used for anti-infection and are divided into three types.  Secondly, chemical agents: pidomod, levamisole, mimeglumide.  The third biological agents: immunoglobulin, thymidine, interferon, transfer factor.  Chinese medicine has a two-way regulatory effect, commonly used is Astragalus preparations.
