Does low blood pressure make you dizzy?

Low diastolic blood pressure may cause symptoms of dizziness, in addition to weakness, palpitations, and pallor.
Adults with diastolic blood pressure less than 60 mmHg are called hypotensive and may be categorized into several types such as ordinary hypotension, upright hypotension, and idiopathic hypotension. When hypotension occurs, there may be no conscious symptoms, or there may be dizziness, weakness, palpitations, pallor, and cold sweat.
Hypotension may be due to emaciation, weakness, etc. It may also be secondary to tuberculosis infection, neuropathy complicating diabetes, brain tumor, abnormal damage of adrenal cortex function, myocardial amyloidosis, severe renal impairment, etc. Therefore, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for medical consultation when there is an abnormal decrease in blood pressure.
