Daily care and precautions after sinusoscopy surgery

  1, diet: after surgery should be given high-calorie, high-protein, vitamin-rich fluid, semi-liquid food, diet should be warm and cool.
Avoid overheating, too hard to damage the mucosa causing wound bleeding. Prohibit smoking, drinking alcohol and eating spicy and stimulating food.  2.
Position: Maintaining a good position plays a key role in postoperative recovery. Adopting a semi-recumbent position can reduce head congestion and bleeding, and facilitate the spitting out of secretions and reduce local swelling. Appropriate activities for two days after surgery are especially important to relieve pain and enhance body resistance.  3.
Ask the patient to gently spit out the secretions in the mouth, not to cough hard, and not to swallow, so as not to cause stomach discomfort, resulting in nausea and vomiting and other adverse reactions. Give local cold compresses on the day after surgery to promote vasoconstriction, reduce bleeding, and alleviate pain and swelling. Ask the patient to drink a small amount of water several times to moisten the oropharynx, or cover the patient’s mouth with wet gauze after surgery to moisten the inhaled air.  4. Closely observe whether the nasal blockage is loosened and dislodged. If the gauze is dislodged, do not pull it out by hand and report it to the doctor promptly. Patients should be instructed to open their mouths and breathe deeply when they sneeze or cough paroxysmally to avoid bleeding caused by the blockage coming out.  5.Patients with pain can do deep breathing to relax the muscles, or distract patients by listening to music, reading books, talking with patients, etc. If necessary, apply appropriate amount of pain medication to relieve symptoms.  6. Do not engage in physical strength or heavy sports activities within 3 days after surgery to prevent bleeding.  7, regular follow-up after surgery: 7 days after surgery, immediate follow-up of discomfort, regular let the doctor understand the situation of the surgical cavity, if necessary, the surgical cavity should be cleaned to ensure the surgical effect.
