The method of compress treatment

The treatment can be done in two ways: small doses and large doses at once. The advantage of using small dose divided treatment is that it does not cause acute skin reaction due to one large dose, and it can be seen as individual differences, different parts of the lesion to the different sensitivity of the radiation and other characteristics of the appropriate increase or decrease the dose, in order to obtain the smallest dose, to achieve more satisfactory results. The disadvantage is that patients need to go back and forth to the hospital several times. The disadvantage is that the dose is not easy to control, and due to the difference of individual sensitivity, it is easy to cause too much or not enough dose, so it is more demanding for clinicians. The therapeutic effect of β-radiation is slow to occur, and although the direct irradiation of the skin has ended, the changes in the biological effect caused by the radiation do not end, so continuous irradiation should not be carried out endlessly to pursue rapid healing.
