In general, if the original denture has good retention and stability in the oral cavity, the base of the fracture is mainly plastic material, and plastic material can be repaired. Usually, the first step is to make a plaster model of the removable denture, then to perform some grinding on the fracture of the denture, and to fill the plaster model with denture base self-consolidating resin, and finally to polish the repaired denture by grinding. If the patient’s denture is found to be fractured, it can be repaired by giving it a complete alignment outside the mouth and filling the model. If the patient’s denture cannot be completely mated outside the mouth, or if it is broken and the joints are not tight, the patient should wear the original denture in the mouth, take another model, and after filling the model, repair the missing or broken part with self-consolidating resin on the model, then polish and wear it inside the patient’s mouth.
