There is a suspicion of one condition such as fever and cough symptoms that are similar to the symptoms of a contagious disease such as influenza. For example, a high fever or more than one respiratory symptom, including cough, shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing.
And include one or more of the following conditions, such as having been in close contact with a confirmed case within ten days of the onset of illness. A person who has traveled to an area with a concentration of cases within ten days of the onset of illness, without a history of obvious contact or travel as described above, but with symptoms sufficient to suspect the disease.
Suspected cases are diagnosed on the basis of the clinical symptoms and epidemiologic history exhibited by an infectious disease, which are commonly used in medicine as clinically diagnosed cases. If it is confirmed by observation, it is converted to a confirmed case.
