Thyroid grade 2 is serious and how to treat it

Thyroid grade 2 generally refers to thyroid nodule grade 2, which is benign and generally not considered serious if the nodule is not large; its treatment includes surgical treatment and regular review. According to the TI-RADS classification, thyroid nodules can be categorized into grades 1 to 6, of which thyroid nodule grade 2 generally belongs to benign nodules, with a 0% risk of malignancy; it is generally not considered to be serious if the nodule is not too large and does not have symptoms of pressure, and it is more serious if the nodule is large enough to cause pressure than the former. Treatment for thyroid nodules includes surgery and regular review. Regular checkups are sufficient if the nodule is grade 2 and there are no symptoms of pressure such as difficulty in breathing or swallowing, while surgery is recommended if there are symptoms of pressure. Patients diagnosed with grade 2 thyroid nodules should actively cooperate with doctors for treatment.
