Peeling on the hands may be caused by physiological factors such as dry climate, or it may be caused by ringworm, dry eczema, exfoliative keratolysis and other diseases.
1. Physiological factors: If the climate is dry, or the body loses more water, it will lead to dry skin and the appearance of skin on the hands.
2. Ringworm: it is a disease caused by dermatophyte infection, and it is also easy to be induced by the hands being wet for a long time. The patient manifests as hyperkeratotic lesions on the palms of the hands, and there will be dryness, flaking and other symptoms.
3. Dry eczema: it is a disease caused by the reduction of oil secretion on the skin surface, the cause of which is related to the excessive water loss of the stratum corneum and the reduction of oil, and it is mostly found in the hands and legs. Patients will have dry, scaly localized symptoms.
4. Exfoliative keratolysis: it is a skin disease that occurs in the exfoliation of the stratum corneum of the palm and plantar area, the cause of which is related to infection and heredity, and is commonly seen in the hands, feet and other parts of the body.
