Ankylosing spondylitis is a systemic disease with chronic inflammation of the sacroiliac joints and spine, and invades the joints of the extremities and other organs, mostly preceding the onset of bilateral sacroiliac joints. Bilateral sacroiliac joint CT examinations and HLA-B27 are feasible for clear diagnosis.
