There are many kinds of sequelae of brain injury, which can be broadly categorized into mild sequelae such as headache, or moderate sequelae such as epilepsy, decreased speech function, and may also be severe if there is impairment of consciousness.
1. Mild: headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting may occur.
2. Moderate: There may be epileptic convulsions, speech dysfunction, numbness and weakness of limbs.
3. Severe: Brain injury may affect consciousness, and there may be drowsiness, lethargy or even coma, which is also known as vegetative state of existence.
In the clinic, after brain injury, there may be sequelae, but most of them are mild, most of the patients, in the later stage of internal medicine and rehabilitation exercise, there is hope to recover relatively good state, need to comply with the doctor’s instructions.
