The role of the new coronavirus vaccine is to prevent infection with the new coronavirus. The vaccines currently in clinical use in China are inactivated vaccines, recombinant protein subunit vaccines, and adenovirus vector vaccines, all of which are capable of playing a preventive role. There are no large-scale studies comparing the effects of different vaccines, so it is not clear which vaccine is the best: 1. Adenovirus vector vaccine: only 1 dose is administered. Adenovirus is modified by removing the key genes and filling them with the target genes of the new coronavirus, and the new coronavirus genes are delivered to the body with the help of the adenovirus vector to promote intracellular production of antigens and induce cellular immunity. The virus is first inactivated and imported into the body without causing infection, but maintains the immunogenicity of the virus, which can prompt the body to produce antibodies against the new crown virus. Antibodies are generally produced about 7 days after the first dose of vaccination, and the antibody positivity rate reaches more than 90% on average about 28 days after the second dose of vaccination. 3. Recombinant protein subunit vaccine: 3 doses are required, which mainly activates the cellular immune response through recombinant protein and removes the virus from the body through cell specificity, and also prevents the vaccine effect from being affected by the gastrointestinal digestive enzymes and acidic environment to reduce the preventive effect. It is necessary to stay for about 30 minutes after vaccination. A small number of patients may experience abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness, chest tightness, limb weakness, and redness and pain at the vaccination site after vaccination, which can generally be relieved in 1-2 days. Patients are advised to avoid getting water on the vaccination site on the day of vaccination, to reduce strenuous exercise for about 1 week after vaccination, and to avoid spicy, stimulating, greasy, cold diet, as well as bad habits such as smoking, drinking, and staying up late. Vaccination does not mean complete immunity to the virus, so we also need to continue to strengthen protection, wear a good mask in public places, pay attention to timely hand washing, and avoid business trips or travel to areas at high risk of the outbreak.
