There are two major types of Category A infectious diseases, namely plague and cholera, which need to be reported by telephone to the epidemic prevention station within two hours, whether it is in the city or in the countryside.
At the same time, after the time limit of reporting the epidemic, patients, pathogen carriers need to be isolated, and take reasonable treatment. And also need to be reported to the State Council health administrative department in a timely manner after the approval of the State Council to be announced, the implementation of the infected point, infected area of the treatment. In addition, the New Law stipulates that Category B infectious diseases such as infectious atypical pneumonia, H1N1, and human infection of highly pathogenic avian influenza must also be handled in accordance with Category A infectious diseases.
And according to the announcement of the National Health Commission, pneumonia infected by the new coronavirus is classified as a Category B infectious disease, but it also needs to take preventive and control measures for Category A infectious diseases.
