What’s wrong with numbness in the little thumbs of both hands?

The numbness of both thumbs is generally considered to be caused by cervical spondylosis, bilateral elbow syndrome and peripheral nerve inflammation.
1. Cervical spondylosis: this disease is relatively common, cervical spine degenerative changes, resulting in peripheral blood vessels and nerves are compressed, and even lead to compression of the spinal cord and cause a series of clinical symptoms, once the bilateral nerve roots are compressed, will cause bilateral limb sensory disorders, numbness, weakness, and activity limitations and other symptoms.
2. Bilateral elbow tube syndrome: the elbow tube belongs to the area where the ulnar nerve passes through, once serious lesions occur, resulting in the ulnar nerve being compressed by bone spurs or soft tissue edema, it will cause numbness of the little thumb, and even cause the palm of the hand and the fingers to have limited activities.
3. Inflammatory lesions of peripheral nerves: it may be related to viral infection and metabolism, for example, diabetic patients may be due to local microcirculation disorders and lead to nerve function and metabolism affected, causing inflammatory changes in the peripheral nerves, resulting in numbness of both thumbs.
It is recommended that patients go to regular hospitals to receive further examination and treatment to avoid affecting their health.
