Is it possible to cure deafness?

Deafness depends on the cause, as some can be cured and some cannot. Deafness is classified according to its etiology and will be divided into conductive deafness, sensorineural deafness and mixed deafness. Most conductive deafness can be cured, such as acute otitis media, secretory otitis media, otitis media with effusion or chronic suppurative otitis media, and even cholesteatoma or tympanic membrane perforation, which can be treated with medication or mammaplasty, tympanoplasty, or hearing reconstruction surgery to restore hearing. Sensorineural deafness is more difficult to treat, and some of them are not curable, such as noise deafness, blast deafness, and congenital deafness, such as large vestibular conductor syndrome, and age-related sensorineural deafness, which is senile deafness, and neural deafness caused by the sequelae of meningitis, which are not easily curable.
